We're Serious About Sustainability
To continue pushing the corn industry in the right direction, we are committed to zero waste. We work with environmentally-conscious farmers, use every part of each kernel that passes through our dry mill distillery, and leave nothing behind.
We use everything. Nothing is wasted or thrown out. Every part of each kernel is used.
We’ve implemented a water treatment process that eliminates pollution and wastage.
Because we reuse and recycle all the waste we produce, nothing goes to the landfill.
Transparency is Crucial
It’s crucial for all of our sustainability goals and steps to be transparent and actionable. Get to know our action steps by downloading our Sustainability Report.
We believe that corn’s versatility, availability, and affordability make it a smart choice for food, feed, and fuel. That’s why we use sustainably-sourced corn to make our products, leaving zero waste behind. Zero waste isn’t just sustainability — it’s also efficiency.
“Show Me Ethanol is a low-carbon, sustainably focused company, demonstrated by the incredible efficiency improvements we have achieved. Committed to Our Planet
While our facility and practices are earth-friendly, so are our renewable plant-based alcohol products. With our corn sourced locally, there’s less travel, which drastically reduces our carbon footprint. Every day we strive to implement new sustainable practices to reduce our impact on the planet.
